Coordinates
The station coordinates are available in the ITRF system and the Egyptian Transverse Mercator system.
The reference point corresponds to the antenna phase centre (L1) at the top of the pillar.
ITRF
IERS (International Earth Rotation Service) Terrestrial Reference Frame.
The ITRF is the realisation of the terrestrial reference system of IERS. The ITRS is the most precise international system, accuracy being measured in centimetres.
The associated ellipsoid is GRS80, the parameters being:
* semi-major axis: a = 6378137 m
* degree of flattening: 1/f = 298.25722210088.

Moving from ITRF system to Egyptian Transverse Mercator
A method of transformation, allowing the shift from the ITRF coordinates measured by the GPS to the kilometric coordinates (X, Y) and the altitude (H) of the Egyptian system, has been created by the CEAlex in the programme SKI with the interpollation method. This transformation facility has been stocked in the memory of the SKI programme (Leica).
